Republic FC and Bank of America are taking over Downtown Plaza Park (915 I St) to catch all the action as Mexico takes on Czechia on Wednesday, June 24. Celebrate the world's biggest soccer tournament with family-friendly activities, food trucks, live music, commemorative merchandise, and special appearances from Republic FC players and coaches. The event is free and open to all ages but attendees must have a ticket for entry. Ticket sign-ups are available now and will also be available on-site the day of (until max capacity is reached). Design FC is bringing its global youth design exhibition to Oakland and Neighborhood Sports Club.

For the past 6 months, Design FC has been working with youth from around the world to design jerseys that represent their countries. The collection will be displayed at NSC, as we celebrate one of the most impactful organizations in the sport industry.

The City of Milpitas, in partnership with Moveable Feast, is collaborating on an admission-free community event celebrating the World Cup soccer tournament. The event, known as the Taste of Milpitas & More, will feature food and beverage vendors from Milpitas and beyond, along with live entertainment. Live entertainment will include live bands, performances by local cultural and community groups, and a live broadcast of a World Cup match. Friends and family are welcome.

Calling all soccer fans! Thrive City is celebrating world soccer by hosting a watch party you won’t want to miss. This event will feature the broadcast en español on Telemundo.

Put on your favorite gear and watch Team Mexico and Team Korea battle it out live when we broadcast the game on our large plaza board. The party doesn’t end there though! We’ll be celebrating Mexican Heritage Night with a live mariachi band, themed food and drink specials from Thrive City restaurants, giveaways, photo ops, and more! 

Pre-match festivities will begin at Channel Wharf (next to Shed B / Pier 48 Ferry Dock (north of Atwater Tavern) - only a couple blocks away from Thrive City! Fans can show up at 4:30PM to enjoy live music, activities, and giveaways, followed by a Fan March to the watch party. Priority reserved seating will be given to fan march participants.

The march will begin at 5PM and fans will be accompanied by a marching band and spirit leaders. The march will end in Thrive City just in time to settle in for the 6PM kick off!

The Entertainment Zone at Thrive City will be activated for these events. Guests ages 21 and over may purchase to-go alcoholic beverages from participating Thrive City businesses to enjoy within the Entertainment Zone. Click here to learn more.
